Amber Eagle received her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA from California College of Art in Oakland, CA. She was a Core Fellow with the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston Glassell School of Art , and has been an artist in residence at The Headlands Center for the Arts, Sausalito, CA, The McColl Center, Charlotte, NC, The Portland College of Arts and Crafts in Oregon, and at Lawndale Center for Art. She received a Grant from the Cultural Arts Council of Houston to research sugarcraft and fiestas in Mexico and now works between there and Houston. Her work is included in the Museum of Fine Arts Houston
